Yom Kippur is the time for the 3 R's!
Gimme Shelter! Sukkot Is The Time When We Dwell In Booths!
On Yom Kippur, boys over bar mitzvah and girls over bas mitzvah don't eat or drink, wash, use lotions or wear leather shoes. The reason is that on Yom Kippur, the Jewish people become like Angels!

  • Return- A person who makes a mistake, turns away from Hashem. Yom Kippur is the perfect time to turn back. This process is called "Teshuva," which means "return."

  • Recite - A person should tell Hashem his mistakes and misdeeds.

  • Resolve - A person should try never to make the same mistake again.
