Rabbi Riddle: You Just Gotta Believe!

In this week's Torah Portion, Va'eira, G-d instructs Moses to punish the Egyptians through 7 miraculous plagues. At the same time, the plagues helped teach the Jews to have faith and trust in G-d.

RABBI NACHMAN OF BRESLOV SAID, "IN ORDER TO HAVE FAITH IN G-D, YOU MUST HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF, TOO!"
The word emunah, "faith," is related to the word uman, which means "craftsman." We have to keep strengthening our faith, just as a craftsman has to keep improving his skills.
