Say Hello to a Good Bye! Thou Shalt Not Steal!

This Shabbos is called Shabbos Beraishis. We read the very first portion of the Torah, which describes how G-d created the earth, as well as the entire universe.

• According to the Torah, the day starts from the night before, as it says, "There was evening and morning, the first day..."
  

• G-d created Man last to teach him several lessons. When he acts properly, he is the crown of creation. When acts improperly, he is lower than all the animals on the earth.
  

• In six days, G-d created the entire world. On the seventh day, G-d created the Shabbos, a Day of Rest...
